Solvent-Based vs. Water-Based Dressings
A solvent-based dressing is recommended for use on exteriors, as it can contain more silicone. Water-based dressings can be used on exterior, interior and engine bays, but they do not have the same longevity on the exterior as the solvent-based dressings.
